Mysterious Landscape — Fine Art

Mysterious Landscape - 1930 looks out over an unknown place. The work carries a quiet Nordic feel from the mid twentieth century. Tove Jansson often built scenes with measured marks and a sense of distance. You can see the artist working in a land light painting style, where shapes sit apart on a steady field.

A fine art print sits inside a frame with a back panel. The print is set there for a clean finish and arrives assembled when you choose the ready to hang option. You see the picture held flat, with the back panel keeping it square on the wall.

On the landing wall near the top stairs, the picture reads from below as a wide stretch of land. From the kitchen doorway you notice the soft shifts in tone across the middle of the sheet.
