Nine Discourses on Commodus, Part VI uses broad pencil and paint lines that cross a dark field. The strokes press harder in some places and fade in others.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. Cy Twombly worked with scribbled marks and a handwritten feel. The sheet keeps that loose gesture clear.

The frame finish can follow the room: a light frame on a dark wall, a dark frame on a pale wall, or a wood frame beside wooden furniture. On a hallway wall near the stair tread you notice the darker strokes first. Stepping back the lighter lines come through more.
