Nine Squares

Nine Squares arranges nine separate colour blocks into a clear grid. The shapes are even and the white spaces between them hold the picture together. The eye settles on the repeating rhythm before it notices the gaps.

The print is a fine art print set in a frame, with a back panel. It arrives assembled when the ready to hang option is used. The matte surface keeps the flat colour planes from catching a glare under a lamp.

Above a desk the blocks read as separate units. From a chair you see the white lines between the shapes, and the pattern stays calm at that distance.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
