No 1969

No 1969 uses the letter and number motifs Jasper Johns returned to over many years. The image reads as a set of stencilled shapes arranged on a plain ground. The layout keeps the eye moving across the page rather than resting in one spot.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang with a metal hanger fitted to the back. You put it straight onto a nail or screw. The matte paper holds the letter shapes without a shine under a lamp.

It fits a study wall above a desk where the numbers and letters catch the eye between tasks. From the doorway the broad shapes stand out, and from the desk you notice the thin red line beneath the black ink.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
