No. 3 - 1953 by Mark Rothko shows two large colour fields stacked on the sheet. The top band holds a warm tone and the lower band holds a cooler tone. The painted edges blur into the ground.

The fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel and arrives assembled when the ready to hang option is used. The matte surface keeps the soft edges from shining under a lamp.

It fits on a stairwell wall where you catch the broad shapes from the landing. From the bottom step you see the two bands, up close you see the slight grain in the ink.
