Noname 8

Sombre faces and worn hands come forward from a dark ground in Noname 8. The marks are careful and slow, as in the American realist practice of Ivan Albright. You see the weight of the shapes before you read the faces.

The print goes up on a nail or screw with a metal hanger fitted to the back. You do not need to buy a separate frame. Fine art prints like this one sit straight on the wall.

In a hallway with a low bulb overhead, the dark areas hold their tone and the faces stay clear from the bend in the stairs.

As a guide: 40×50 cm suits a desk or small wall, 50×70 cm sits well above a sofa or bed, and 70×100 cm anchors a room as a focal piece. If you'd like advice for your space, send us your dimensions and we'll recommend a size.

For your country, this piece is estimated at 5 to 8 business days from the moment you order, including production, with free tracked delivery. Every piece is made to order by the print partner closest to you; framed pieces take a little longer because each one is framed and checked before dispatch. These are estimates, and there is no express option. Full country-by-country ranges are on our estimated delivery times page, and you can see exactly how your piece is packed.

If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number, and keep all packaging. We will send a free replacement at no cost to you. See our refund policy for the full process.
