O Teatro — Fine Art

O Teatro - 2009 shows a plain field with a flat colour shape across the surface. The painting follows a late modern abstract approach where flat planes and simple outlines hold the composition. Joao Vieira often built his pictures from clear colour areas and quiet forms.

This fine art piece comes with a frame in a white, wood, dark wood or black finish. The frame gives the picture a clear edge on the wall and sets the flat field apart from the room around it.

Hang it on a calm hallway wall where the plain field reads clearly from the step before the door. The frame edge guides the view and the flat colour holds its shape at a short distance. You notice the simple outlines first, then the quiet field behind them.
