Ocean Drive West #1, 1974

Ocean Drive West #1, 1974- shows a flat sheet with colour laid in broad areas. The edge where the paint meets the ground stays loose. Helen Frankenthaler worked with thin colour on a flat surface. The brush moves across the sheet and leaves a soft line.

The print comes as a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. You see the broad areas of colour clearly on the sheet. The back panel keeps the sheet flat against the frame.

It goes above a plain hallway wall near the door. From the hall you notice the broad areas of colour and the soft edge. The flat sheet shows the mark without shine.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
