Ocean Park #24 by Richard Diebenkorn splits the sheet into wide painted bands of blue and ochre, with thin pencil lines drawn across the surface. The top band is lighter than the one below it. Richard Diebenkorn worked in the abstract expressionist movement, laying down colour first and drawing on top.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. The matte paper keeps the blue and ochre bands from shining under a lamp.

It fits on the wall above the desk in a study. From the doorway you notice the broad blue band first, then the pencil lines when you pass by.
