Ocean Park #46 — Fine Art

Ocean Park 46 by Richard Diebenkorn lays down blocks of colour next to drawn lines on a painted ground. The blocks hold warm and cool tones that sit side by side. Thin graphite lines cross over the paint and break the larger areas into smaller parts.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. The matte paper keeps the grey of the pencil lines soft and stops the paint colours from shining under a lamp.

It hangs on a bedroom wall above the headboard. From the bedside you notice the broad painted bands first. Standing a little closer you pick out the thin graphite lines and the small changes between the colour blocks.
