Open Letter 1958 — Fine Art

Open Letter 1958 by Anni Albers shows a paper that reads like a message set down in lines. The eye moves through the marks and rests on the open spaces between them.

Anni Albers worked with weaving and print methods, and this fine art print keeps that same plain approach. It is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel, so the surface stays level on the wall.

The matte face softens the grey tones and holds the lettering feel without shine. It works on a study room wall beside a desk. From the doorway you notice the line rhythm first, then the quieter background fills in behind the marks.
