Pandora — Fine Art

The title Pandora - Abstract Expressionism points to a busy field of paint and fabric shapes. Miriam Schapiro stacked bright colours and cut forms over one another. The eye moves through the crowded surface and rests on the biggest patch. Empty space is hard to find.

This fine art piece arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fixed to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame is needed. The matte surface keeps the painted layers flat and readable.

It fits a kitchen wall above the counter, where the bright shapes stay clear in the morning light. From the table you see the stacked forms, and the busy surface fills the wall without asking for attention.
