Pedernal — Fine Art

Pedernal by Georgia OKeeffe shows a dark mountain ridge set against a pale sky. The peak is a hard triangle. Soft bands of blue and white sit behind it. The mountain holds the picture on the left side. The ground below is quiet and warm.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang on the wall. A metal hanger is fitted to the back, so it goes up on a nail or screw. No separate frame is needed. The print sits flat on the hook and the mountain ridge reads straight on.

Hang it on a wall above a low sofa near a window. In the evening light the dark ridge stays soft and the blue sky does not shine. From the doorway you see the shape first. Up close the flat colour fields hold steady.
