Peinture

Peinture - 1955 by Simon Hantai shows folded and crumpled paper arranged in horizontal bands. The colours stay within muted greens and browns. The bands run across the sheet with soft edges where the paper turns over.

This fine art print keeps the paper texture visible under normal room light. The matte finish stops glare on the darker bands, so the folds read clearly from a distance.

It fits a pale wall in a dining room. From the table you see the long bands first, then the small creases when you pass by.

As a guide: 40×50 cm suits a desk or small wall, 50×70 cm sits well above a sofa or bed, and 70×100 cm anchors a room as a focal piece. If you'd like advice for your space, send us your dimensions and we'll recommend a size.

For your country, this piece is estimated at 5 to 8 business days from the moment you order, including production, with free tracked delivery. Every piece is made to order by the print partner closest to you; framed pieces take a little longer because each one is framed and checked before dispatch. These are estimates, and there is no express option. Full country-by-country ranges are on our estimated delivery times page, and you can see exactly how your piece is packed.

If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number, and keep all packaging. We will send a free replacement at no cost to you. See our refund policy for the full process.
