Perentie Goanna Dreaming — Fine Art

Perentie Goanna Dreaming - 1992 shows a goanna track winding through a field of dots and pale ochre colour. The marks sit in open space on the sheet. Clifford Possum Tjapaltjarri worked in the western desert painting movement, building country stories from dots and joined lines.

This fine art print sits in a white frame that gives the picture a clear edge on the wall. The frame edge stays simple against the pale ground so the dot field does not feel crowded.

The print fits on a bedroom wall above a low bed. In the morning light the dots read as small marks, and the goanna track leads the eye across the sheet without hurry.
