Petals 1988 — Fine Art

Petals 1988 by Yayoi Kusama offers a watercolour study built from repeated petal shapes. The brush moves in soft arcs, pressing harder at the curve and lifting near the tip. Each petal keeps its own edge, and the layers stay loose.

The fine art print keeps that rhythm on matte paper. A white frame gives the image a clean edge on the wall, so the repeated forms read as a row rather than a blur.

On a hallway wall, the repeats draw the eye toward the bedroom door. You see the soft strokes first, then the white frame separates the picture from the trim.
