Plentitude in Blue — Fine Art

Plentitude in Blue - 1975 opens on a broad blue field with small shifts in tone across the surface. The eye settles near the centre where the blue is deepest, then drifts outward into lighter areas. A fine art print carries the colour in even layers so the blue stays steady from one side to the other.

The white frame gives the image a clean edge where blue meets the wall. The edge keeps the blue field from fading into the background and holds the shapes in place.

It fits on a bedroom wall near the bed, where morning light reaches the blue without washing it out. From the doorway you see the large blue area first, then the small tone changes as you pass by.
