About this work

Plow

A wide field of washed colour runs from one side to the other in Plow. The pigment settles in soft bands, with the tone shifting across the surface. A darker section sits near the middle, and the paint stays open at the edges.

This fine art print comes ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame is needed. The paper is matte, so the lighter colour bands stay soft and there is no shine under a lamp.

It fits well above a kitchen counter. From the breakfast table you see the broad colour band, and near the range you notice the small changes in tone.
