Positioning of Mobile Graphic Elements — Fine Art

Positioning of Mobile Graphic Elements by Frantisek Kupka shows a set of small marks arranged across the sheet. The eye moves from the top left where the marks gather, then spreads toward the open lower right. Empty space holds the weight of the composition.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. A white frame gives the picture a clear edge on the wall. The white line keeps the marks separate from the room around them. Black and dark wood frames would push the image down, while wood would warm the page too much for the picture.

On a dining room wall near the window, the marks read as a few small notes. From the table you see the whole arrangement at once, and from the doorway the open space on the right stays quiet.
