About this work

Prince Albert

Prince Albert - 1978 by Gene Davis shows a row of painted colour bands crossing the sheet. The bands step through one hue in a steady change from one side to the other. Each stripe holds its own tone without mixing into the next.

This fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel and arrives assembled when you choose the ready to hang option. The matte surface keeps the flat colour bands sharp and stops glare from a lamp.

In a dining room, the bands read as a steady rhythm along the wall near the table. From the doorway you notice the clear shifts in tone, and the room feels ordered.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
