Proteus

Loose pencil lines and soft grey shapes run across the sheet in Proteus. The marks stay loose, as if drawn in quick passes. Cy Twombly leaves space between the lines so the page breathes.

The fine art print sits on a pale wall where the light reaches the low tones without washing them out. A light frame balances the soft ground, and the paper stays matte so the pencil lines do not shine.

On a landing wall at the top of the stairs you notice the slow drift of the lines first. A heavy coat rack sits below, and the quiet shapes settle above it.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
