Radiator Building — Fine Art

Radiator Building - Night, New York shows a tall city building dark against a night sky. Street lights pull the eye down to the glowing windows and the street below. The forms are simple and the marks sit in clear bands. The art practice of Georgia OKeeffe often uses plain colour fields and clean outlines.

This is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The paper is matte, so the dark blues and the yellow window lights do not reflect under a lamp. That keeps the night scene soft and readable.

It fits above a hallway console where the ceiling is low. From the middle of the hall you see the building shape and the lit windows. Up close the printed marks read as steady lines.
