This fine art print is ready to hang on arrival. You read the broad sweep first, then notice the small changes in hue when you stand near the wall. Paul Jenkins worked with poured paint and a tilt of the canvas to let the pigment run.

The glass or acrylic surface stays flat so the bands hold their line without glare. Hang it in a narrow hallway where you pass it each day. From the doorway you see the full sweep of colour, and at the turn you catch the finer shifts between the bands.
