Rane E Specchi 1980 — Fine Art

The work titles itself after water and mirrors. Small marks sit inside a wide open field, so the page reads with breathing room.

Alighiero Boetti worked with drawings and prints that let empty areas carry as much weight as the drawn marks. You are looking at a fine art print on matte paper.

The surface stays soft, so the pale lines hold their tone without a shine under a lamp. It hangs on the dining room wall, set low enough to read while you clear a plate, and the room catches a soft grey from the sheet.
