Ravello and the Coast of Amalfi

Ravello and the Coast of Amalfi follows the measured line work MC Escher used across his graphic print practice. The drawing treats terraces and a shoreline as a stack of clean outlines. You see the same kind of steady black marks he used for towns and coasts.

The fine art frame comes in white, wood, dark wood or black. The frame edge keeps the picture set apart on the wall. Against this coastline study the wood finish gives the scene a warm border, while the black finish makes the black lines feel closer to the edge.

On a kitchen wall near the sink you notice the stacked terraces first, then the small window marks on the coast. From the table you see the whole shore read as one long line.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
