Red and Pink — Fine Art

Red and Pink spreads two main colour fields across the sheet. One band runs warm and the other sits cooler beside it.

This fine art print is ready to hang on arrival. The painted edges stay open, with some areas thinner than others. The brush passes leave visible tracks where the paint thins out. Sam Francis often worked with thin washes that let the white ground show through.

The paper holds a matte surface, so the reds and pinks read without shine under a lamp. A light frame can sit on a dark wall, or a wood frame can go beside timber furniture. It fits a hallway wall near the stairs, where the two tones stay clear from the lower step.
