Red Painting For Romania

Red Painting For Romania - 1990 by Ronnie Landfield shows a bold red field with darker painted bands crossing it. The red sits on a lighter ground and the bands break the surface into parts. Ronnie Landfield painted in this broad colour field style over many years.

A fine art print set in a frame with a back panel holds the image steady. The matte paper keeps the red tones even and hides the shine under a lamp. It arrives ready to hang when you choose that option.

On a study wall near a desk the red field draws the eye first. From the doorway you notice the painted bands before the smaller marks. The print sits flat against the wall and reads clearly from a few paces.
