Red Plum — Fine Art

Red Plum - 1961 shows a single bright fruit hanging from a thin branch on a pale ground. The paint sits in small flat patches rather than smooth blends.

This fine art print is ready to hang on arrival. A dark leaf shape rests near the stem and the fruit reads as a clear shape against the lighter field. The image reads plain from across the room and the patched paint becomes clearer up close.

The frame finish can follow the room, a light frame on a dark wall or a wood frame beside wooden furniture. It hangs on a kitchen wall near the sink where the pale ground stays soft under the overhead light and the fruit shape stays clear while you wash dishes.
