Redfern composition — Fine Art

Redfern composition - Abstract Expressionism uses broad painted bands of colour that move across the page. The paint sits in soft layers, with some areas thinner and others thicker. You can see where the fluid paint was guided across the surface.

The fine art frame finishes in white, wood, dark wood or black. The white frame gives the painted bands a clean edge. The dark wood frame lets the colour sit cooler against the wood grain. The black frame holds the colour field together.

In a reading corner, the broad bands read as a steady colour field from the chair. You notice the thin light marks when you look at the print from the desk. The print sits on the bookcase wall, and the colour bands stay flat under the lamp.
