Reminiscence

Reminiscence - 2005 shows a loose suggestion of calligraphic lines on a flat ground. The shapes read like old brush writing without filling the whole page.

Toko Shinoda often leaves room for the eye to find the subject. Fine art handling keeps the tones close to the original feel. You can place it on a pale wall and let the light wash over the surface.

A dark frame on a pale wall would draw the marks forward. It works on a study wall near a desk lamp. The shapes sit at the top of the frame and the light stays even.

As a guide: 40×50 cm suits a desk or small wall, 50×70 cm sits well above a sofa or bed, and 70×100 cm anchors a room as a focal piece. If you'd like advice for your space, send us your dimensions and we'll recommend a size.

For your country, this piece is estimated at 5 to 8 business days from the moment you order, including production, with free tracked delivery. Every piece is made to order by the print partner closest to you; framed pieces take a little longer because each one is framed and checked before dispatch. These are estimates, and there is no express option. Full country-by-country ranges are on our estimated delivery times page, and you can see exactly how your piece is packed.

If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number, and keep all packaging. We will send a free replacement at no cost to you. See our refund policy for the full process.
