Rêve Eclair À Mont Wedge

The title Rêve Eclair À Mont Wedge - 1994 points to a flash of lightning near a high ridge. Clifford Possum Tjapaltjarri built his paintings around country stories told with dots and joined lines. This sheet keeps that same telling method, with a bright strike running through a plain field.

The picture arrives as a fine art print ready to hang. A metal hanger sits on the back and fits straight onto a nail or screw. You do not need to buy a frame. The matte paper keeps the pale lightning marks soft and stops a bright shine under a lamp.

It works on the wall in a study above a low desk. From the doorway you notice the sharp white line first. Standing a little nearer you see the small dots around it.
