Rising Star 1923 — Fine Art

Rising Star 1923 turns a small dot of yellow into a point that pulls the eye forward. The rest of the page stays low and quiet in greys and browns.

Paul Klee built many of his drawings from simple signs like this, and the fine art print keeps that plain approach without extra polish. The paper has a matte surface, which keeps the yellow from reflecting back under a ceiling light.

You can hang Rising Star 1923 on a bedroom wall beside a wooden bed frame. From the doorway the yellow shows first, and the black marks only appear when you step nearer. The piece sits at a height where you can read the small lines without leaning in.
