River Cloud

River Cloud - 2002 by Wayne Thiebaud shows a wide band of painted sky. The cloud shapes drift across the surface in soft colour shifts.

The paint sits in steady layers that move slowly from one tone to the next. A metal hanger on the back lets you put the fine art print straight onto a nail.

The flat matte surface keeps the grey and blue tones even under a lamp. It fits a bedroom wall above a low dresser. From the bed you see the cloud band, and the quiet colours settle over the room.

As a guide: 40×50 cm suits a desk or small wall, 50×70 cm sits well above a sofa or bed, and 70×100 cm anchors a room as a focal piece. If you'd like advice for your space, send us your dimensions and we'll recommend a size.

For your country, this piece is estimated at 5 to 8 business days from the moment you order, including production, with free tracked delivery. Every piece is made to order by the print partner closest to you; framed pieces take a little longer because each one is framed and checked before dispatch. These are estimates, and there is no express option. Full country-by-country ranges are on our estimated delivery times page, and you can see exactly how your piece is packed.

If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number, and keep all packaging. We will send a free replacement at no cost to you. See our refund policy for the full process.
