Rocks at Appledore

Rocks at Appledore shows a stretch of stone against open water and sky. The tones sit in cool greens and grays, with warmer ochre near the rocks.

Childe Hassam worked in quick painted strokes that keep the surface active. The metal hanger on the back lets you put this fine art print straight onto a nail.

No frame is needed. A nail in the plaster holds it level above the kitchen sink. The cool tones sit well under the bright light there.

As a guide: 40×50 cm suits a desk or small wall, 50×70 cm sits well above a sofa or bed, and 70×100 cm anchors a room as a focal piece. If you'd like advice for your space, send us your dimensions and we'll recommend a size.

For your country, this piece is estimated at 5 to 8 business days from the moment you order, including production, with free tracked delivery. Every piece is made to order by the print partner closest to you; framed pieces take a little longer because each one is framed and checked before dispatch. These are estimates, and there is no express option. Full country-by-country ranges are on our estimated delivery times page, and you can see exactly how your piece is packed.

If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number, and keep all packaging. We will send a free replacement at no cost to you. See our refund policy for the full process.
