Romance

Two green shapes stand out against a soft blue ground in Romance. The picture holds wide colour areas with drawn shapes sitting on top. Tarsila do Amaral worked in Brazilian modernism, using broad colour and simple marks.

The fine art frame comes in white, wood, dark wood, or black. A black frame gives this picture a clear edge on the wall, so the blue ground stays set off from the room around it.

In a kitchen, the blue ground reflects light on a tile wall near the sink. From the doorway you see the green shapes first, then the drawn lines. The frame finish stays flat against the painted surface.

As a guide: 40×50 cm suits a desk or small wall, 50×70 cm sits well above a sofa or bed, and 70×100 cm anchors a room as a focal piece. If you'd like advice for your space, send us your dimensions and we'll recommend a size.

For your country, this piece is estimated at 5 to 8 business days from the moment you order, including production, with free tracked delivery. Every piece is made to order by the print partner closest to you; framed pieces take a little longer because each one is framed and checked before dispatch. These are estimates, and there is no express option. Full country-by-country ranges are on our estimated delivery times page, and you can see exactly how your piece is packed.

If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number, and keep all packaging. We will send a free replacement at no cost to you. See our refund policy for the full process.
