Roses By The Window — Fine Art

Roses By The Window shows a small bunch of roses set near a window opening. Pierre-Auguste Renoir painted the petals in short colour strokes, with the flowers drawn in the impressionist painting style. The leaves blend into the background with quick marks of green and pink.

A light frame on a dark wall lets the rose colours stand out without glare. The matte paper keeps the paint touches soft under room light. You see the separate strokes clearly on this fine art print.

It fits a hallway wall where the morning light falls across the blooms. From the landing you notice the pink petals first, then the green leaves as you pass by.
