Roses in a Blue Vase — Fine Art

Roses in a Blue Vase shows a group of flowers gathered against a painted ground. The petals carry pink and red tones while the leaves hold cool green notes. Pierre-Auguste Renoir keeps the brushwork loose and the outlines do not stay hard.

A fine art print set in a frame with a back panel gives the image a steady surface. The frame holds the print flat and the back panel covers the rear. You see the pink petals and the blue glass without a shine under a lamp. The colours stay close to what the paint shows.

On the kitchen wall near the sink, the blue glass reads first from the doorway. The pink petals and the green leaves sit apart on the paper. A small bowl of soap rests below the picture and keeps the daily wash tidy.
