About this work
Sand Storm - 1932 shows a pale field with a hazy band moving across the middle. Agnes Lawrence Pelton built the air with thin layers of paint. The empty space around the band lets the dusty shape breathe. You can see where the paint thins near the top and the lower part stays quiet.
The fine art print keeps the soft tones without glare under a ceiling lamp. A light frame on a dark wall lets the pale band stand out. The paper is matte, so the dusty grey stays even when you turn your head.
Hang this fine art print on the kitchen wall beside the sink. From the counter you notice the hazy band before the dishes. The quiet space around it keeps the busy room calm.
