Scissors and Lemon, II — Fine Art

Scissors and Lemon, II by Richard Diebenkorn puts a pair of scissors beside a lemon on a tabletop. The lemon is a flat yellow shape with a few darker notes. The scissors show dark metal against a pale ground. The tones sit close together.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. The white frame gives the image a clean edge on the wall. The white wood sits near the lemon yellow and the dark scissors, so the picture reads without a heavy border. The finish keeps the edges visible.

It hangs in a small kitchen above the sink. The yellow lemon and the dark metal catch the morning light from the window over the basin. You notice the simple arrangement at the end of a morning.
