Small farm on Nistelrode — Fine Art

Small farm on Nistelrode shows a country building set among fields. Broad painted shapes sit on a muted ground, with a few dark forms standing apart. Piet Mondrian used this kind of landscape painting in his early work before moving toward the black grids of the de stijl movement.

This fine art piece is printed on a matte surface, so the soft colour blocks stay flat and there is no shine under a lamp. You can choose a white, wood, dark wood or black frame to give the picture a clear edge on the wall.

It fits well on the wall in a hallway above a narrow console. From the bottom of the stairs you see the broad forms in the field, and up close you notice the simple painted edges.
