Solitary Bonsai — Fine Art

Solitary Bonsai by Eyvind Earle uses flat colour bands and clean outlines. The trunk rises in a narrow band while the leaves sit in clear shapes against a plain ground.

The picture reads clearly across a room, and the small outline marks stay steady up close. The fine art print comes with a white, wood, dark wood or black frame, and that finished edge keeps the trunk line from fading into the wall.

A black frame sets the trunk hard against the wall. A reader sees it in a study beside a desk lamp. The flat leaf shapes hold their shape while the lamp throws a soft shadow across the paper.
