Special ?21 by Georgia OKeeffe — Fine Art

Special ?21 by Georgia OKeeffe sits on a plain ground with broad shapes spread across the page. The painted forms hold a calm rhythm and leave open space between them. The work belongs to american modernism and follows that steady approach.

This fine art print sits on a matte sheet so the paint marks stay soft and the light does not bounce off the surface. A light frame over a dark wall gives the shapes room, and a dark frame on a pale wall ties the room together. The wood frame beside wooden furniture keeps the look quiet.

It works on a hallway wall at shoulder height where the light hits from the side. From the far end of the hall you read the broad shapes first, and up close you see the small differences in the painted surface.
