Still Life 1917 — Fine Art

Still Life 1917 shows a tabletop scene drawn in black ink on a light sheet. The forms sit close together with careful shading and small repeated lines.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. The print keeps the measured drawing style MC Escher used for his graphic studies. The art print rests in a frame that follows the room finish, with a light frame on a dark wall or a dark frame on a pale wall.

A wood frame beside wooden furniture works the same way. The picture holds its tone under a steady ceiling light. It reads well on a kitchen wall near the sink, where the small marks stay clear from the counter.
