Still Life Watermelon by Salvador Dali — Fine Art

Still Life Watermelon shows a sliced fruit resting on a surface with the sharp edges and soft shading that appear in the work of Salvador Dali.

The composition keeps the eye on the curves of the flesh and the dark seeds, with a quiet arrangement that matches the fine art tradition of still life painting.

The print sits on a wall where the light falls across the page, so the shadows stay clear and the paper does not shine. A bedroom wall works well, with the fruit near the top of the frame and the room quiet at night.
