Still Life with Apples — Fine Art

Still Life with Apples sets round fruit on a surface, painted in the bold short strokes Vincent van Gogh used for still life subjects. The apples crowd one area and leave the rest open. Warm reds and yellows sit beside cooler greens.

This fine art print is set in a frame with a back panel. The matte surface keeps the painted marks soft instead of shiny under a lamp. The frame gives the image a clean edge for the wall.

In a kitchen over a stove, the warm fruit tones sit near the room heat. You notice the grouped shapes first, then the small painted marks on the side of each apple.
