Still Life with Roses and Sunflowers — Fine Art

Still Life with Roses and Sunflowers shows petals and leaves painted in bright red and yellow. Short brush strokes lay the colour on the surface. Vincent van Gogh worked in this way on many still lifes.

The fine art print uses a white frame that gives the picture a clear edge on the wall. The white line keeps the bright petals from spilling over the edge.

It hangs on a bedroom wall above a wooden chair. From the bed you see the yellow flower heads first, then the red petals come into view.
