Still Life with Watermelon and Pemegranates — Fine Art

Still Life with Watermelon and Pomegranates holds fruit and a cloth over a table. The paint breaks into small separate strokes that build the red and green shapes. Paul Cézanne slow colour build up gives the still life a steady weight.

The fine art print sits on a wall where the light falls soft and even. A dark frame on a pale wall lets the red fruit stand out without glare.

It works on a kitchen wall above a counter where you set the fruit bowl. You notice the separate green strokes when you pass by in the morning.
