Structural Constellation 1955 0

Structural Constellation 1955 0 by Josef Albers sets a few straight forms against a muted ground. The tones sit close to one another, so the edges feel sharp but the mood stays calm.

One patch reads slightly warmer than the next, and the small gaps between shapes hold the eye. The paper is matte, so the light greys stay soft and there is no shine under a lamp.

The fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. In a narrow hallway, the shapes read from the bend in the corridor, and the pale ground keeps the space open.
