Study for Stars

Study for Stars by MC Escher joins the graphic print work of the twentieth century. The drawing sets small stars against a plain field. Thin lines gather in clusters and leave open space between them. The marks stay neat and keep a steady pull across the page.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang. A metal hanger fits the back and goes straight onto a nail or screw. No frame is needed. You fix it up and the drawing sits flat against the wall.

In a study above a desk the small stars sit under a lamp. You see the tight clusters first and the open gaps second. The room stays quiet except for the steady lines.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
