Summer Palace

Summer Palace - 1975 by Adja Yunkers shows a few broad colour shapes set against a quiet ground. Soft greens and dull blues sit next to each other, so the tones stay calm rather than sharp.

This is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The frame keeps the paper flat and the matte surface holds the faded greens without shine.

On a hallway wall near the stairs the shapes read clearly from the landing. You see the green band first, then the blue patch beside it. The frame is plain wood painted white.
